IG-MAXX vs. Colostrum

IG-MAXX

Colostrum

The basic constituent of IG-MAXX is rich in a wide array of naturally occurring immune factors with little variability from day to day. This fact allows for the high purity and consistency of IG-MAXX. IG-MAXX has a low degree of allergenicity because it does not contain any dairy proteins.

Only the first milking is true colustrum – subsequent milking increasingly resembles milk in casein and lactose content. Because of this, colostrum is well known for its inconsistency in product quality and potential allergenicity.

The active ingredient in IG-MAXX is produced from material collected under USDA inspection and manufactured according to the requirements of the FDA, GMP compliant manufacturing facility. The ingredient is cold processed within a proprietary manufacturing process, which limits loss of functionality and the potential for bacterial contamination.

Most colostrum is pasteurized due to contamination with pathogenic bacteria during the collection process. Pasteurization results in reduced levels and functionality of the bioactive protein.

IG-MAXX has up to 4 times the antibody binding capacity compared to standard colostrum. IG-MAXX typically contains 50-65% total immunoglobulins.

Typically, colostrum can contain 10-30% immunoglobulins. However, this is highly variable depending how long after birth the colostrum was collected.

IG-MAXX’s high levels of transferrin, endotoxin binding proteins, and other antimicrobial factors provide 15 times more antimicrobial activity than what is found in colostrum.

Typical recommended doses of colostrum does not provide functional levels of lactoferrin and other innate immune factors.

Antibody binding and antimicrobial activities found in IG-MAXX have been scientifically shown to reduce local and systemic inflammation by decreasing production and expression of inflammatory cytokines.

The anti-inflammatory effects of colostrum have not been well researched and would be a fraction of what is found in IG-MAXX due to the reduced antimicrobial activities of colostrum.

IG-MAXX is enriched with growth factors such as IGF-1, TGFb-1, and TGFb-2. These factors are well known for their growth promoting, wound healing, and anti-inflammatory activities.

The variable nature of colostrum does not allow for an accurate and consistent measurement of growth factors.

An initial less-potent version of IG-MAXX has been scientifically proven to have a positive effect in animal studies on recovery from bovine coronavirus infection, which is similar to the virus found to be the cause of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).

No scientific data available.

An extremely high level of positive feedback has been reported by IG-MAXX users when using IG-MAXX as nutritional support for wellness issues that include colds, various flus, bowel problems (inflammatory), degenerative situations (cancer), various immune deficiencies (HIV/AIDS), pre & post operative support, upper respiratory problems (pneumonia), infections, lack of energy, and many other health problems.

Colostrum has yielded inconsistent and unreliable results.
